The price of smoke
First post !
First of all, you are awesome people. I really like the interest you take to answer questions. I am from Québec City area contemplating the idea to open a smoking service business. I have spent most of my life either running a business or helping people get their business plan approved by a bank, I fully know the risk, still, should I go there... Recently my decision was upgrade by a meeting with a regional pork and beef producers with a delivery network in place, who fancy the taste of my food. They are offering a contract to be the exclusive smoker for their meat, with the right to sell mine under my brand. The idea is interesting for it somewhat guaranteed a stable revenue but bring me to something of a unknown factor: How do you charged for meat you smoked vs resale value. Any comments is appreciated. I don't have an answer but "The Price of Smoke" caught my attention. Others probably clicked on your post for the same reason. I don't think your question sucks but you need an answere from someone with very specific experience.
