The 1st annual NW Louisiana BASH in Shreveport.

Saturday May 29th. 7:00AM - till. Memorial day weekend.

5315 South Lakeshore Dr.
Shreveport, LA. 71109

Adult beverages are allowed. Please use cover. BYOB. Several picnic tables. Bring chairs. Parking for pits in parking lot close by. The area is to the right of main building when facing it.

We will even have a torpedo.

Lots of hotels. For any riverboat gamblers, Boats and hotels on either side of Red River.

There’s a good chance that I’ll be able to drive again by then. We’ve been working on getting my van modified for two years so far and the service manager says that they are close to the end. That would improve my chances of getting to visit with y’all - as long as that jerk “Toast” is not around. Nobody liked him and he was always mean to me.

I’ll start trying to save my pennies now. Lord willing, I’ll be there

We're in. Wife and I will be there. Retirement May 14 and bash May 29. Sounds like a plan to me. We'll make a trip out of it.

Now to figure out what to cook.
I'm thinking I'll cook a breakfast fattie, a naked fattie, some jalapeño and cheddar sausages, maple sausage links and Shelly may have a couple of items also.
Maybe some ribs like I did at the Texas Spring Bash, baby backs this time.

I'll plan to bring some Alabama sausage (Conecuh), ABT's, stuffed/wrapped dates, and whatever else we may come up with. Probably bring a jar of the cowboy candy pickled jalapenos we have been making if I have a jar left.

Well, I am pretty sure Hotch wants me to do that pork loin that I did this past weekend, and since it's only 8 hours for me, I'll be driving, so I may have an extra special addition or two.

Went to finalize arrangements for site. They are going to have a cash bar open that day. In fact they would rather we use it. I told them I would make the announcement.
