A weekend at Disney is more expensive than a full week all-inclusive Mexico trip. They do tacos and bbq well down there, that's where I'll be.

Like many of you, I am sooooooo turned off by Disney. The BBQ and plant based whatever may be out of this world, but I’ll probably never know. Oh well, just saved myself $$$$$$$$$… lol.

I am curious to know what make/model of smoker(s) they use in this restaurant. Not that it matters, just curious.

The use some Yoders at their Kiosk's, and have a BIGG Offset in Epcot that is shaped like a train locomotive. I was lucky enough to get to see it out back of their other BBQ place in Epcot at the American Experience area.
But very "commercial" type of BBQ.

I am no fan of the current Disney. But that being said, it's not like you are paying $45 and expecting great BBQ. You are paying for an experience with the kids. It's a theme restaurant and if your kids are into Toy Story and it's done right, it's worth the price. Years ago before they became Woke, I'd pay that in a heartbeat.

Yoder stick burners, I assume?

100% in agreement, especially your last sentence.

I probably also share the group's political opinions of Disney. But I've been 6 or 7 times over the years and the food is always really good. Not cheap, but good.

That being said, I probably won't do this "barbecue" though.

So we go to Disney often and of course I try the bbq for my Youtube channel. The best bbq at Disney World is from The Polite Pig which isn't ran by Disney though on property. The worst I've had was from The Regal Eagle in Epcot. The surprise of them all was the Pulled Pork Cheese fries from Flame Tree BBQ.

I haven't seen any positive reviews of The Toy Story one yet, most just say it's okay.

No, they use Lump in them, and thats it. The Big one at Epcot is a stick burner.
I would also guess that they have a big Commercial Smoker / Pellet type, somewhere in their "kitchen area".

The BBQ I had had a faint smoky flavor, and very little "Bark". But then again, they are cooking for thousands.

You assume everyone in the "group" is in agreement? Disney sucks whether you agree with their "woke" politics or if you're asleep with the rest of the sheep. Im sure this will get banned and deleted though many have made similar comments on the opposite end of the spectrum. In my experience here, only one side gets moderated.
Back on topic...
I wouldn't pay $45 for bbq anywhere

No, the 554SMOKR60/ 60" for charcoal, which they just use lump. They set these up at the different Kiosk's in Epcot during the various "Festivals". They always claim the food is "smoked".
