Talking Honey Brined Turkey Breast

Well, the redeeming meal is in the smoker. Went with the honey-brined recipe posted recently (cut WAY back on the salt since it was, unfortunately, enhanced). Went with a wet rub made of thyme and sage.

Here's the opening pics. There will be one quick pic at a later spritz.

Have a bacon explosion fatty prepped for later.

Thumbs up Doh! Finished product (after several failed postings)

The turkey turned out FANTASTIC! MIL and FIL loved it.


Both had seconds!

They also enjoyed the Bacon explosion fatty, but lamented the fact that they could only have a single piece due to high blood pressure.


More for me, I guess.
