My first thought was a mini submarine, but now that you have doors cut that idea is kinda shot.

Default input needed

So i got the other door cut out and the grate slides put in today. I'm to the point now where I can't decide on a reverse flow or straight up with some tuning plates. I've never cooked with a stick burner and I'd like to go with the design that keeps the most even temps.

Default todays progresso

Was kind of a lazy day.

Then my 20$ special grinder finally packed er' in. Went and got myself a good one and finished cutting out the door.

Got my grate sliders in .

And trimmed the fat off the wood stove, and cut out the opening to the cook chamber.

This is my first real welding project so please don't be to critical of my welds. ( It's a gradual learning curve ).

Gonna keep plugging away, I'll keep ya all posted. Some feedback from the offset guys would be greatly accepted.

I don't know for sure but I think reverse flow has more even temps. Somebody feel free to correct me if I am wrong!

So it has been a few days since my last post but I am pretty much finished. I wasn't going to post until later but I'm sitting here waiting for the hardware store to open......

Couple nights ago, My neighbor says I'm workin to hard and I should take a break, ask's me if I want to go fishing.... at 9:30 P.M. ...hmmmm...... okay lets go!

didn't get into the lake till around 11:30,

We got skunked but hey look at the view.... plus a few beers, it was worth it!

Just getting home to get back to work..... wait a minute it's 3:30 in the morn, bedtime.

Okay back to work. Here's where I am at now, almost done. Going to grab some finishing stuff and will burn her today! Enjoy
