I really like my Masterbuilt Electric smoker. I don't smoke anything other than charcuterie type things though.

I and others here have Cookshack electric smokers.
I drag it all over the state in the back of my truck on vacations, works like a champ. |

I have a Cookshack electric as well and it is a workhorse. The nice thing about the Cookshack is that you can use any wood chunks. With the Bradley you have to use their pucks.

I have a cookshack , it is a quality product and does a good job for an electric smoker .
It saves the day when I am told " Oh bye the way , I told my family you are cooking pulled pork for my dads birthday party tomorrow at noon " and it is 7 o'clock in the evening the night before . Throw a couple of butts in it and go to bed...

I like my masterbuilt electric smoker, for the price it works great, i wanted a bradley as thats what my brother uses, but after much consideration i went with the masterbuilt because i can use chips instead of the bradley pucks wich could get expensive on long smokes. I believe its about 15 minutes of smoke per puck with the bradley.

I also have a masterbuilt that I like. Set it and forget it, except to add chips.

I had a cookshack and it did a fine job. I wish I still had it from time to time.

Go Fish
I use a Luhr Jensen Big Chief for fish. It works great and takes any wood...

My Bradley is a machine that will smoke for 10 hours continuously. It really is quite the machine.
It'll cost more... much more than Masterbuilt. But, Bradley smokers are real quality. Done amazing chicken on mine: a non-digital. Too bad my BWS is what I want to cook on in the foreseeable future. Anyways, Bradley smoking pucks are cheap, and easy to get from places like Amazon. They bring em right to the door... easy.

I've got a Bradley analog and a Masterbuilt digital that live in the unattached garage. They both get used a lot in the winter here, both have their strong points and weaknesses. The Masterbuilt has more reliable temperature control. The Bradley is the one to use for cold smoking as the smoke generator is independent from the heating element.

Nutailgater, as you see, CookShack seems to be a popular smoker. I own two CookShacks and have never had a problem with either one of them. The SM009 is not available now but the newer units are just as good if not better. They made them a bit wider so a large brisket will fit good on it. CookShack all the way. One thing nice about CS is you can cook without smoke and they are insulated. So if you want to cook lets say a PrimeRib without smoke, it cooks it great even in the dead of winter.
