Default 3 little birds and armadillo eggs

I bought 3 cornish hens on sunday, I used Plowboys yardbird on one, my own rub on another, and coarse pepper / kosher salt on the third. I also made some sausage meatballs stuffed with mozarella.

it was a toss up, the s/p one really let the pecan / cherry smoke come through, It was the first time i used my rub on chicken (i normally use it on pork shoulder) and it actually surprised me how well it went with chicken. Plowboys was good like always. Hopefully when my rub is completed (1-2 more months) it will do 1/4 as good as his rubs.
