I went shopping for ribeyes...and ended up with these...I think I did ok.
I see all the mandatory food groups are there :mrgreen: I've had such good luck with the fillets from Sams Club I've almost given up on other steaks.

I got these at Costco...I was picking up salmon and ribs for the rest of the weekend and spotted them out of the corner of my eye...:twisted: They were some of the best I've had. I usually get my steaks from the local butcher on my way home from work every Friday...I wonder if he is still waiting for me?
I even tried their Kirkland Signature "Meritage" wine to go with them. Nice pairing! :biggrin:

It was very good...the blend was about 60 % merlot, 30 % cabernet, and 10 % cabernet-franc. I would describe it as "smooth"...:biggrin:
