Default Propane 101, everything you need to know

As some of the members and newbee's cook with gas, And even the woodies and charheads may have LPG burners as a side warmer, hot water heater or the deep fryers on their competition rigs and or RV living units.

It is always good to have a source of correct info for when the questions of burner operations, regulators, hoses and the liquid in the tanks, and why it is only filled to 80%.

Also the correct amount of expansion of the Propane liquid with the temperature rise. Propane liquid expands 1.5% for every 10 degrees (measured against temp at filling time). Along with all the FAQ's that come up.

Here are the two best sources for that information I have found.
The first one is the Propane 101, everything your momma never told ya!
http://www.propane101.com/index.htm

It has great graphics to clear up the explanations, and covers all the questions that people ask. As there are "NO STUPID QUESTIONS, just the answers"

The second one is from an RVer's site, with more great info and some questions that people didn't know who to ask.
Propane Safety,

enjoy

I still use my propane grill a lot. Charcoal for sure tastes better. But when I can still cook up some fantastic burgs and dogs in 10 minutes or less after a long day of work with little to no clean up....

So do I, it is faster when making lunch, or dinners when you are occupied by other things.

I figured since there is so much miss information about LPG/Propane and it's safety. that they couldn't hurt
