Default Tri tip cost

Hi guys,
I live in Pennsylvania and was going to do tri tips this weekend
Local butchers were either 10 or 11.99 per pound,
Seemed awfully steep to me. What is everyone paying in their areas.

Out here on the west coast it's about $5.99/6.99 a lb untrimmed on a daily basis.

In Bay Area Cali it's 6.99 normal price...3.99 on sale...you can get some fine steaks for 11/lb

Got some select cuts that were well marbled for 3.99/lb. untrimmed from Winco in Sacramento. Choice cuts average 6.99/lb everywhere else.
