I have been wanting one for quite some time but after I started using my pellet pooper the Weber Kettle has been neglected just received mine today and decided to put it to the test. I have a chicken on my rotisserie ring using the SNS. I never was happy with the baskets that came with the kettle as they did not seem to put out enough heat with the ring and I always had to replenish them before the chicken was done. So far think the SNS is going to do the job.

I haven’t used my pellet pooper since my SnS arrived. My Weber kettle with the SnS is easy to use and gives better flavor profile.

Huge difference and you're going to love it sir. And as good as it gets for a kettle when searing steaks

And burgers

And beef ribs

And picanha

And crispy skin chicken thighs

And crispy grill fried wings. Yes even with breading

And even briskets

There's a ton more that I've done with the SnS both direct and indirect. Seriously guys, it transforms your kettle into a mean cooking/smoking machine. I mean it already is but makes it a breeze.

The chicken was as good as any I have ever cooked. The family just loved it. Very juicy, flavorful, and the skin crisped up perfect. The wife never eats skin and when she ate a wing she tried the skin and I think she is hooked. I will have to get a thick steak out of the freezer for the weekend. The SNS was well worth the sale price and even at full price is a good deal. Here is the chicken right before I cut it up. One thing I did different was to only use SPOG to season it. Sometimes the simple basic seasonings turn out the best.

You're all frikin' insane. Now I have to abandon my Highland stick burner, my Char Broil turkey fryer and probably my A-Smoke pooper to go down this new rabbit hole. Oh, and I forgot, my gasser rotisserie? Naw, I'll keep all and use intermittently. I will get more use out of my kettle, though, for sure. LOL

Ya, ain't it great. You know how it is, a man's gotta have to have options. I am now thinking of ribs on the rotisserie using the SNS. Guess I have to get a rack of ribs out of the freezer along with my steak.

That was a great deal. I passed because I have one of the originals and have only used it twice. I started using other cookers soon after getting it. I only use my kettle for wings with the Vortex these days.

I think I have a Smokenator for the kettle somewhere.

Going to have to give that a whirl with my rotisserie. I echo your sentiment about the Weber charcoal baskets and limited runtime. With Kingsford Professional briqs in a full charcoal chimney that is mostly lit I can get a little over an hour of runtime before the temp drops off and performance is reduced.

I just unboxed mine and put it in my 26” kettle for safekeeping. It’s definitely a well engineered hunk o steel. Seems like it’s right at home in the 26er too.

Got a split under cools and gonna do a ready made pizza. This thing has way more capacity than those Weber inserts. Glad I bought it!

You're gone love it the more you use it. It definitely has more umph than the measly weber baskets. I've never used those baskets they're still sitting somewhere in the garage.

I think I’m going to break mine in with a slab of Prairie Fresh ribs - as best I can recall, I don’t believe I’ve ever done a “low and slow” cook on a kettle.
