My neighbor owns a trucking company and gave me 5 gallons of coke syrup that came off a damaged pallet. Any ideas what to do with it? maybe marinade or bbq sauce?

I did a sauce with coke syrup several years ago. If I remember correctly it was pretty good. Unfortuneately do not remember the recipe

He soaked a chuck in it with some spices and smoked it. Claims it turned out pretty good.

Was it in a keg or a box? Keg is useful for your homebrewing friends!

It's just a box with a bag that you can get out what you need and reseal. I wish it was a keg because I do the homebrew also.

Isn't that stuff just a bunch of HFCS with caramel coloring and flavorings?? It's best use would probably be in a sauce, since sugars work there, but can't imagine what else!?

coke syrup (the kind you have) is good for chrome polishing. Mythbusters proved it. Aside from using it in a marinade, polishing chrome, de-crusting your battery terminals, and attracting Farking Ants, it will make a great toilet browning material when you flush it. lol
