We to Dixon, Ca on Saturday and competed in a steak cook off. I did.not win but had a lot of fun, met some new friends and learned a lot.

I like the amount of equipment and short time frame of steak cook-offs but need to explore the judging parameters. Are the scores really tight?

Next time I will be trying to take what I learned and place in the top 10. We'll see
I don't know about the scores. This was my first time. I am going to a judging class next month. I'll know more then. I liked the steak I turned in. I went to learn and have fun so I was happy.
