Default Flat Iron Steak and Shrimp

It's been a while since I posted a cook here, but Mother Nature held my grilling off for a few weeks. I had a pair of wrens that built a nest in the overhang of my Q shack and the smoke tends to roll right over the nest area, so I held off on the smoke until I was sure the baby wrens were fledged...I'm such a softie.

Babies are gone.......smoke's on!

Flat iron steak and shrimp - the shrimp and flat iron steak were on sale this week.......the shrimp a little small, and I've never cooked a flat iron steak before.

Rubbed the steak with Oakridge Carne Crosta and cooked hot and fast with some mesquite smoke on the Egg. Ran the steak to about 125 on the thick end when I pulled.

I think I got this right.
