tonight, i heated up some leftover pulled pork from the comp (11th pork :biggrin: ) and threw together some slaw to go with it and took it all over to the neighbors. they said, "yum!".

the slaw was:
1 bag-o-slaw mix
1 chopped onion
mayo
lemon juice
kosher salt
black pepper
and a little dizzy pig pineapple head to make it interesting :biggrin:

and i even delivered it to them! :biggrin:

i didn't measure the ingredients except the first two, but it was probably

1/2 to 3/4 cup mayo
half a lemon squeezed almost all the way
the rest is to taste but maybe
2 teaspoons pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pineapple head

it's kind of a spin-off of cowgirl's chipotle slaw recipe

I think a neighborhood of BBQ'ers would be very interesting. Smoky and kinda hard to drive in on weekends. But a lot of good food and parties.

Awwwww, man.....can you imagine the block parties??!?!!
Cookers out in the street, blue smoke everywhere, grease & sauce all over the place.......sounds like paradise!!! The application process would include having to hand in photos of PRON and what cooker you have BEFORE the loan paperwork started.....HA HA HA!!!
