Memphis dry ribs on the cooker now... for a coworker though. I have a wedding attend to so I can’t smell like smoke this weekend.

Happy Phriday Phu and pharkers!

Well, my arse is still smoking from surgery last week if that's what to want hear...probably not, but oh well.

I was feeling good enough yesterday to smoke my loin buckboard bacon...9 lbs of deliciousness now chilling in the fridge ready to be sliced, if I can summon the energy.

I still have some meatloaph mix in the freezer, and because I'm off work for another week, I might see if the in-laws want that for lunch/dinner on Sunday.

Me and my arse are going to relax for a bit.

Aveagoodweekend!

Happy Phriday, Pholks! Taking a much needed vacation day today, so I started a pork butt at around 0300 to have ready for lunch.

I'm excited about this weekend.
Tonight will be cooking chili on the kamado for my parents' visit.
Tomorrow will be doing a sous vide pork loin.

But Sunday I'm smoking chicken and sausage for the 8 year old's birthday party, and then a couple of pumpkins to be brewed into smoked pumpkin beer!!

I can't WAIT for that one!!!

I've some whole spares to cook, but my wife has been out of town since Monday, so I have a frig and freezer full of leftovers to reduce. Someday I'll learn not to fill up the cooker every time when there is just me eating.

This weekend is a long weekend for me, so I'm going to try to actually cook a brisket correctly!

I think I got some ribs and I have a wonderful looking Butt from my butcher shop that I'm going do a practice run on as well.

I just did chicken last night, so within a couple of days I'd do a full KCBS turn in lol.

I plan on some Huli Huli Chicken with grilled pineapple slices for Sunday. Haven't decided on the menu for Saturday, but maybe some beer brats.

Working Sat. but Sunday looks like a washout with Nate passing thru, so I may do the next best thing and pull some phrozen BBQ out and try a Brunswick stew. Have a saphe and phun weekend, y'alls. Good luck, Phu.
