I got me some of those dutch oven liners like Shelley was using. Plus, a cast iron pot to go with them.... Thanks Hotch for the great pics. By the way, the egg/cheese dish in that dutch oven was super good.

Yep, the Longhorns are coming back. LSU will be in town for the opening game this year. First time since 1954 in the regular season. One of us will catch hell after September from the other. :-D

Looks like it was a great time.
We just can't seem to get a Bash off the Ground in the NY/NJ area.
A few guys tried putting a few together but, sadly beyond a few, there was
little interest.
We used to get together around Christmas but that has also stopped.
I guess we will need to try again.

Perhaps get with a local VFW or American Legion, hold a bash there on their grounds, invite brethren to bash and vets to partake, especially since there is usually quite a bit of food, and everyone has a great time, eats well and benefits. This is something that I would like to do in the future.
