Default Rainy day butts and XL fatty

Fired up the Spicewine to about 325 this morning and threw a couple of pork butts on about 10:30. 6 hours later, they were done. Been raining off and on and is currently pouring. Waiting on the 2lb fatty to finish. Butts are tented and resting.

Rain protection!

XL fatty

Yep, she ran like a champ. Nothing inside. I'm sort of a fatty purist. A little rub is my preferred choice. This on will be breakfast for the week.

Very nice! I think if I ever upgraded from a WSM it would be a Spicewine. Love the rain mod!

Fatty in a biscuit for breakfast makes my first day back to work a little easier after 4 days off. Hopefully it'll make the next 3 days a little easier as well....

Never smoked a but at that high of a temp or that quick. How does it compare to low and slow?
