Actually there was one other TD a few years ago for green chiles that only had one entry.

But fortunately we got some more entries in. I'm still surprised there are so few, would have thought there would have been a lot more.

Remember seeing the results and thinking: Damn, had I known this was going on, I could have at least roasted a single green chile and entered it in the TD. Would have had a 50-50 chance.

As usual I had a big old plan. Even bought a Jimmy Dean log and a pack of filo dough. Was gonna roll and smoke a fatty.

Eh. Still in the fridge. Turns out that small one I rolled and smoked first, left me with no motivation.

There's still time!

Get in the time machine, go back to yesterday, cook that fatty, and post your entry.

See you tomorrow!

Entry pictures must be submitted by Noon Central US Time on Monday 10/26.

Don't let this deter you from entering future Throwdowns, just be sure to read the rules before you enter, especially in terms of identifying your post as an actual entry, and specifying which photo you want used for voting.

A link to the rules is posted in the beginning of each entry thread, and is also stickied in the top section of this sub-forum.

You can read them here, and they are very straightforward and simple:

We stick to the rules, otherwise mayhem and foolishness ensues.

That said, if you have a functioning time machine in good working order, by all means, feel free to use it, as long as you get your entry in by the required deadline.

Have to get back to work now...
