Rubbed with SM Sweet Seduction

Cherry wood, Kamado Joe lump

Cook temp 280-300F controlled bu the Tip Top Temp

Normally I dont monitor IT temp but did for this since I was curious with the new pit, it was about 205F

Took about 7.5 hrs

Ready to come off the smoker

Nice!! Did you get a smoke ring at all? How do you like that tip top temp?

thanks

The TTT works excellent. Cant ask for more from it

As for the smoke ring, I had to look after you asked since I really dont care about that, but you can see it somewhat in this pic

Very nice, looks real good from here.

Did you have to refuel the Acorn at all?

thanks

That looks great! I was more curious than anything. I'm tempted to pick up that tip top temp thing. Thanks.

Looks like it turned out pretty good!

thanks

turns out it was the easiest, moistest pork butt I have ever cooked. I tribute that to the cooking environment of the Akorn.
