Weber or Broil Mate. If you want a cheapie look at Broil King's Huntington or Broil Mate line. Mine sat out uncovered for 10 years and never hicupped. I only got rid of it because I found a Broil King Signet 320 for $80 used.

In my opinion gassers are disposable torches. Save money on the grill and get you a set of Grill Grates.

Weber keeps parts inventory around for years, so if your ignitor breaks or your flavorizer bars need to be replaced you can fix your grill. I gave an old Genesis to a buddy of mine 15 years ago and it's still going strong. Many on Craigslist used for good prices.
I bought a Jenne Aire branded gasser made by Nexgrill a number of years ago, and after two years one of the ignitor tubes leaked causing the entire wiring harness and front knobs to melt down with ZERO parts available.

Made in CN or not,Weber makes a fine gasser and their Customer Service is second to none. Nexgrill and other off brands are disposable grills with no replacement parts. You could look at Broilmaster, Broilking, or Napaoleon if you want mainstream US/CA grills but it's still hard to go wrong with a Weber.

I recently bought a new 3 burner Weber Spirit. I’ve had it for a month, so can’t comment on the longevity, but it’s a nice grill. 10 year warranty and parts available for a long time. I use it during the week for burgers and chicken. Does everything I need it to do.

My recommendation is buy once, cry once. I did that 14 years ago with my Weber Spirit S-320. Since then, replaced favorizier bars once and grates twice.
I went from going though lesser grills about every 3-4 years. Finally wised up. Good Luck with your decision.

The Weber's are a bit pricey, but based on my experience with my Genesis versus the charbroil grills I had in the past its definitely worth it.

There might be something to the "buy once, cry once" theory. I'll need to sell that to the boss though..

Need to differentiate between older Webers and the new ones. The older ones are solid, made in America. The new ones are all Chinese and are probably OK but not what they were. The metals are lighter weight for example. If you want a new grill, I would get Broil King. They have plants in Huntington Indiana, Dickson Tennessee and Waterloo Ontario. They are noticeably better quality in a side by side at the same price point.

I have a 27yo Falcon MKV that was U.S. made from cast aluminum. I'm on at least the 4th burner, 3rd set of cooking grates, 2nd set of rock grates, etc. and the basic grill is still going strong.
Falcon is no longer in business so today I'd look at MHP, Broil King, and Broil Master. There are some others but my memory is running out this morning. Remember, buy once, cry once, new parts are cheaper than new grills.

Even the Weber Q series cooks nicely and holds up. There's a 1200 in your area on Craigslist for $100.

I've had a Char-Broil Commercial infrared now for about 3 years that I use when not using the BGE. For a gasser, I love it. CI grates, no flare ups. 4 burners and you can even cook indirect if you wish.
It's exclusive to Lowes and it won't break the bank at $550. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Char-Broil-...ner/1001462436

If you have some time, set up a craigslist alert for a Weber Summit. I picked up an early 2000’s 6 burner with rotisserie and side smoker box. Keeps on giving and I’ve only had to change the tank with weekly use year round in MN.
