Is $1500 for a 2005 FEC 100 a good deal?

That's less than half of new and only 6 years old, if it isn't all dented up and the electronics all work I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

I'm not sure if the 2005 still had the traeger controller or the IQ4 , but I would still jump on it. Nice thing is you can usually still sell it for what you paid for it if you need money, or not happy with it.

For sure a good buy if it is in good operational condition.

Mine is an APR 2007 model and was (I beleive) one of the early IQ4 models.
Even with the rotary controller, it is a fine cooking machine.

Good Luck.

If its in decent shape with no major dents, that's a great price.

Unfortunately, I expect the economy and unemployment has something to do with it.

Well, sort of, new model coming out, but I don't think that's why people are selling. I think it's like others have said, economics more than anything else.

FEC120. Has a convection fan on top and the fire in the back with more capacity.

Well I bought it, let the practice begin, going from an offset pit and a BGE to a pellet fired. Let's see what happens.
