Picked up an extra used BGE nest yesterday for $40 (set of mates included). Plan is to remove the stock wheels and fabricate\weld a wider base and add pneumatic wheels. My goal is to have an offroad Egg with a little more stability. I might even add on Nest Handler as well.

Any leads on pnuematic wheels?

I've seen them at HF and Northern Tool. Good luck on the new project!

Be careful going off road. Hit a hole or bump of some sort and sure would hate to see that BGE take a spill!

Try Harbor Freight for tires or Tractor Supply. Menards has a nice selection as well

I've had bad luck recently with the Harbor Freight pneumatic tires losing air. You may want to consider adding "Slime" or another sealant.

My Large BGE is used for competitions. Pavement is a luxury I don't see too often. Hope the wider stance and larger wheels will prevent a fall.

I was actually thinking of filling them solid.
