Was a busy weekend and since I was working around the house I decided the throw a pork loin on the weber.

Threw on some southwest smokey chipotle seasoning and let it sit while I got the smoker going.

Not sure what was up this day as the smoker hit 350 and stayed there. I've never had it get this hot. So I dampered it down and threw on the pork.

Couple hours later I took a look and decided it was time to wrap in foil.

Some resting and then carving.

Unfortunately it must have gotten too hot too early or I didn't wrap early enough as it was drier then I would have liked. Tasted excellent though.

This will be my official pic for the throwdown.

I think that even when pork loin is cooked perfectly, it is still disappointing. It is just a bland, lean cut.
