Dang! Not feeding sticks or charcoal this week. Just need them to go on clearance so i can figure out if it's for me so i can be ready for next summer.

At least we'll have a breeze.
Cooked a butt on the egg today, only used 3 fist sized lumps to maintain 275 for 6 hours

Ouch. When I lived in El Paso those temps weren’t too bad early in the summer but even there this time of year the humidity was building.

Pellets have their place. For me the weather hasn’t been the issue but it’s awesome to have it available to do an overnight cook after a long day - say one of my daughters weddings when we have the out of town guests coming the next day
