Since we cook in the same zone, get a Brinkman off set, Matt

You said you like pellet cookers, definitely check out the YS 1320. Very easy, versatile, and consistent. I love mine.

I just wish I had my CTO mounted on a trailer with a porch so I don't have to drag that sucker up and a ramp.

I love my abs bar be cube, its small enough for backyard and big enough for a kcbs. but for a mbn event i sure would love the lang or a meadow creek decked out with chrome.

We added a new cooker this year. We've been using our MAK with a 18" WSM. We looked at the Backwoods, Pitmaker Safe, and the Rebel 17. Because we intended to still use the MAK, we need a smaller footprint to fit in the back of a pickup. Tough choice since they are all great units. We chose the Rebel, and have really like it so far. Two calls at Sams last week and they both came off the Rebel, pork and brisket.

Wish I had my Spicewine on a trailer. I love my Lang but the Spicewine holds rock solid temps for a long time and can hold a ton of food if needed.

Switch, no. Quite happy with my SouthernQ gravity feed. I would like to own one of their large water pan smokers one day for whole hog. Would also like to play around with an FEC, simply because a pellet grinder is the one type of smoker I've never owned.

We switched this year from a Lang 84 clone to a Rebel 28 Cabinet Smoker. What a world of difference it has made for us. It cooks a great product, holds the temp exceptionally well, and.... I get more sleep. . We could not be happier. It all depends on what your needs are and what you are trying to achieve. For us, we found the best solution. There are lots of recommendations and great testimonies to back all of the choices that folks are posting. Good luck and let us know what you decide. !!!

Matt, you know you want to be a WSM team so just make the move and don't look back.

It would also be a lot safer for me when we're cooking next to each other!

I currently cook on a trio of UDSs, as much as I would love upgrading to an expensive fancy cooker I really don't see a need. I have so much faith in my cookers that I put my Butts and Brisket on and go to the hotel and sleep. I WANT a cool cooker but I'm afraid it would mess up my rest.
