Chris... That looks spectacular..... A Vietnamese lady sharon works with told me about cooking the rice the day before.... I got to get me one of those Shirley cookers and the griddle... One day I'll make fried rice in a manner other than just emptying the fridge of all the stuff that's about to go bad in to a pool of hot oil. Loving the grub and the griddle & a big thanks for your service!

Just plain white rice. Put it in the fridge overnight. The color comes from the soy sauce you add at the very end.
