I was just thinking about this the other day, wondering where it ended up.

Can’t wait to try it

Looks excellent. What kind of heat are we talking here with the pepper blend? Admittedly I'm a wimp when it comes to heat, I lean towards mild. I think this might make a great gift for my son though, he likes hot and spicy.

My daughter and wife think it's a little spicy (the good kind of spicy). I would call it more of a medium-mild chili -- it has just the perfect amount of warmth that comes on slow and lingers for a little bit.

I'm guessing you are only a hop and skip away from creating couple of sub-recipes in order to use your new chili seasoning when making taco or enchilada filling?

I'm not a fan of using just chili powder/seasoning to make my chili, I like fresh chiles in there. But I may try this to replace the chili powder that I do use for my recipe as I know Mike creates some great spice blends. Recently been using Mild Bill's for my chili.

I made a 3lb batch of beanless chili for use on chili dogs this weekend. No surprise, but the flavors are fantastic! We ate some by itself for lunch and everyone liked it a lot. I don't have any pics but I'll take some the next batch I do.

Awesome! I have two bags of the spice at home and cannot wait to try it :-)
