I always make my own dough but I had never tried the Trader Joe's dough. I gave it a go Thursday night since I had a half of a 5lb mozzarella block and other goodies in the fridge that would eventually go bad
First pie was a triple meat what I call a hamburger helper pie with salami, homemade bacon and homemade ground beef
Fresh out of the Blackstone
Close up of the meatzzzz:clap2:
Next pie was triple meat but with peppers and tomatoes
Done
Crust on point
Impressed for a store bought dough
Next day, Friday I picked up this gorgeous 9lb hunk of choice rib roast. It was too beautiful to pass up so I brought it home and separated into two
Took this "individual" chunk to the cabin :becky:
Trussed
Butter, dry rub, fresh oregano, thyme and rosemary :clap2::clap2:
Slathered on the roast
Yessir!!
Fired up the YS 640
In the meantime threw in som fingerling potatoes and brussel sprouts in the oven
Went indirect first then I went for the kill "sear"
Getting there
And done!
Of course even the individual portion was way too much so I made identical plates for myself and the neighbor and the wife. I've got retired couple living next door both at the house and the cabin and they love me:laugh:
My plate
Thank for looking! Cooking the two bone for my parents on Sunday! :clap2::clap2::clap2: Stay tuned!
