Default Three tier beef cook in the Small Egg

I decided to try fitting 3 tiers of beef in the Small Egg. Thinking the set up might come in handy on a future camping/glamping trip.

Put a spider from the Ceramic Grill Store (brethren tjv) onto the fire ring, topped with a cast iron griddle covered with foil, my Woo ring, and then a cooking grid from my Mini Egg. Placed a 4 bone rack of beef back ribs on top of the grid.

Placed the normal cooking grid on top of the Woo and put a tri tip on it.

Later in the cook I added another mini cooking grid and topped it with a couple of ribeyes rubbed with Oakridge BBQ's Carne Crosta

I was planning on a reverse sear finish for the steaks and tri tip so I fired up the Mini Egg to a little over 600 with a hot cast iron grid inside

cooking grid temp

Seared each steak

and the tri tip

Finished steak and tri tip

Back ribs on the Egg

and sliced

I'm really full and have plenty of leftovers for the week
