Moms Pron Pt.3
She says hi to y'all and thanks for the kind words!
Clockwise:Chinese noodles with saté sauce,mixed lettuce with carrots and dressing,chunks of baked pork in gravy/sauce. Last pic is a piece of Laos ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpinia_galanga ) which she gave to me. Never tried it before but I will! Man I'm stuffed,gonna roll me some desert.

You mash/grind it,mix with other spices and herbs,marinade/bake it with meat or noodles. You can also put a chunk in your brew/stew and let it cook with,before you serve you pull it out. It has a mild ginger,citrus,pine taste. My next Q I'm gonna try that out on the meat.
