Here is a roughly 10-lb. fresh ham I picked up from a friend's farm last week. I'm splitting it into thirds. One third is getting smoked tomorrow, one third is getting cured for cottage bacon. The last third am doing - something else with. Don't know what yet. Any suggestions?

At a wild game dinner years ago they had wild boar fresh ham. Not cured or smoked just roasted and it was really good
 
Roasted fresh ham is good, and makes good cold sandwich meat too..
