Default Anybody ever do potato bombs on the WSM?

I’m gonna have the kettle pretty much occupied with wings, so I was thinking of doing potato bombs on the WSM. Not really worried about smoke too much, as they’ll be wrapped anyway. Just thinking I could crank it up a little and use it as a cooker.

Anybody ever do this or anything similar?

VR,
Harold

Not sure what a potato bomb is, but I cook potatoes all the time in my WSMs along with whatever else is in there. Usually foiled and potato nailed.

If you can get the WSM up to around 325 or so, no problem.

Spuds need heat.

You could probably just line them up around your coals, on the charcoal grate, then cook your wings on top. They should have close to the same cooking time.
