Yard ornament? Front yard??? What's your address by the way....

Seriously... Do restore it & cherish it for what it represents... BBQ History!

Cheers!!!

I've never seen or heard of those. Is that a rotisserie inside? Is it galvanized?

Besides the hinge being a little stiff its like perfect inside, lid seems to be kinda galvanized(not sure). Yes it has a rotisserie and the charcoal grate is movable up and down like a huge tray with the outside handles. the front rectangular opening is a slide to control temp. base folds up. Ill get it cleaned up some and the lid working better. Here is an ad for it.

MOre pics, I opened it up, lid makes a perfect shelf when open, nice adjustable charcoal tray, easy slide for air intake control. Pretty nice.

I'd restore it, if for no other reason, so you could call yourself a Hobe Chef after using it.
