Sunday eve roast, pork+cherry smoke=freakin' forgasmic.
Guerreys post on mashed potato had me wanting some and alongside those I wanted some Asian greens stir fried and a pork juice onion gravy to seal the deal.

Look how juicy and soft that inner flesh is, so tender!

All plated up with a cherry and pork flavoured gravy with onion and garlic notes,
we are completely in love with cherry smoke with pork!

Thank you brother, it was made all the more delicious thanks to the brethren teaching me of the wonders of cherry wood smoke!!:clap2:

Mashed potatoes are a passion of mine.
These were made with chopped garlic chives and unsalted butter.
To tell the truth, I screwed up a little. Just a little.
I like the garlic chives to be chopped especially finely but as I was nearing the end and smelling the cherry smoked pork, I heard TFO snap off some crackling and start munching and I rushed it and as you see, some of them are not chopped finely at all!!
The piggie in me got the better of me:icon_blush:
The greens are fried in 3 minced fresh garlic cloves and one skin on smashed clove, Asian caramel sauce and fresh grated ginger and you can just make out some finely diced apple.
I make stuff up as I cook, and this worked brilliantly.
Also some mustard whipped through the juices.

Now that's a dinner. :clap2:

I've been using cherry more & more lately - love that stuff!
