Smoked a boston butt today. Came out great and juicy. The family ate sandwiches and I froze the leftovers to make some Brunswick stew at a later date. The Butt was rubbed down with my rub and injected with the butt sauce recipe that’s on my website. Here’s the pic’s:

Strangely enough, it has been over a month since I last had pulled pork. This is pushing me over the edge. Gonna have to pick up some more butts soon.
 
Pretty pork.... is it me imagining this, or do some of the best Boston Butt specials happen this time of year? I picked up some for 1.09/lb the weekend after Christmas...
 
Smokin, looks great. We do the foodsaver thingy in serving sizes and then freeze. When you want to have a great PP meal, just drop the sealed bag into boiling water (don't open) for 20-30 minutes and it tastes like you just pulled it off the smoker. Good stuff!! Obviously great for stews, encheladas, pizza, but real good for a great PP sammy.
