I showed the Minister the cabbage pancake that Titch did a couple of weeks ago and she liked the look of it, so I gave it a bash yesterday. Used it as the side for some Poor Man's burnt ends.

Good looking dinner Matt. Pancake also on my list. What were your times and temps for the burnt ends?

I'm with Marty, expecting a long, bad joke, but the joke's on us! That is an awesome looking cook. Does cooking for a person of the cloth get you extra points or easier penance? If so, I will give it a try.

And, what was the verdict?

looks great,
poor man Burnt ends? chuck?

I really have to try the cabbage pancakes. I kind of forgot about them then you posted your cook. Looks like a great meal. Thanks for posting.

Average 250° for temp. Cooked until they hit 165° then wrapped until they hit 195°. Let them rest for 20 minutes, cube, brown sugar and sauce in the pan and back in for about 2 hours. All up it took about 6 hours or so.

It was a keeper for sure, very tasty. Yep, chuck for the PMBE.
