Fish Tacos

All that jawing I did about fish tacos on another thread it was on Fridays menu here at the restaurant, however Princess Peggy (#1 customer) says "I don't want fish tacos, I want fish and fried taters, wa, wa ,wa!"
So fish and fried taters it was...….

Mandolined a handful of red taters (enough for eggs and taters Sunday).

Breading was scoop of flour and a scoop of cornmeal, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

All the filets breaded and on their way in the hot fat.

Taters done, fish done, me hungry!

That's interesting. The first fish tacos I ever had were the Dos Equis beer battered tacos at On The Border. I was so impressed that I have been biased against no battered fish tacos ever since.

But blackened sounds good!

Give em a try.I will eat ANY fish taco but Blackened is my very most favorite.

Fried fish works great with taco's too , love fried taters but don't make them often due to carb/sugars/diabetic , Mexican lime hot sauce on top lol
