Default Leftover Brisket? Mac n Cheese

Had some leftover brisket flat from the prior weekend and Mrs. Trout Bum said she wanted something different. How about some Mac n Cheese?

Made a batch with about a cup and a half of chopped up green chile. Baked the mac n cheese while I chopped the brisket, rolled it in some BBQ sauce, and browned some panko bread crumbs in butter.

Then I switched the oven to broil, spread out the panko, and then topped with the brisket.

I let the broiler hit it for about 8-10 minutes. Mrs. Trout Bum called it a keeper.

Yes sir!

My son is discovering the awesomeness of leftover bbq with mac n cheese. Warms a father's heart!

That really does look good & loving that there's green chilis in there. Not loving that I didn't get any.
