Have an abundance of basil coming out of our AeroGarden so we decided to make lasagna. I chopped up the fresh basil into the pasta dough. Man did it ever turn out nice.
I have a Kitchenaid stand mixer with the pasta roller attachment to make this super easy.
While I was making the dough, the wife was making her grandmother's conserve recipe. A winner every time. The final product was a thing of beauty and was absolutely delicious.
