A phrase I royally hate with a PASSION:
I've never understood that concept. Not hijacking the thread but when I worked at Office Depot, as laptop prices plummeted, that was one of the excuses customers gave us when we offered our performance protection plans, which were actually a really good deal considering if you physically damaged the laptop, you got a brand new one, guaranteed. "No thank you, I'll take the MFR warranty and if it breaks I'll just buy a new one." Or, you could be sensible and spend 200 bucks on your 700 dollar computer and cover it for a few years. I never got that. Warranties have paid off on EVERYTHING of mine I've bought (3 new monitors, 2 printers). That's an awesome score you got. I love my Performer, and it was by the absolute grace of God that I got mine...they got a BGE and didn't want the Weber anymore. I'm here to tell you, the Weber grills are the best grills on the market. I've turned out some of the best BBQ I've ever made on a round Weber. |

I love my kettles. I have 3 performers right now, had 2 one touch golds which I ended up selling off when I got my performers. Need to clear some room and sell off the 2011 performer to a friend since it doesn't match.
I also had 2 smokey joes which I turned into mini wsm's. Sold one of them to a friend since I rarely use it, and have one that I use during big parties or use the smokey joe as a side burner for my perfomer.

Congrats on the Performer score! That's what I paid for my 1999 Performer that is missing the gas tank, hose & regulator.
