Hatch chile sighting in SoCal!

I walked into my local Sprouts yesterday, and asked the manager when they were getting Hatches in (Ralph's already had theirs thanks to Frieda's produce).

He said, "I've got them in back. You want them medium, hot, or extra hot?"

So, I have some extra hots to roast tonight.
 
In Albertsons here in AZ last week and Sprouts went out today. Making green chili for work already from them. This batch seemed tame, it was not labeled anything other than hatch. Last year got ahold of some screamers that were pretty violently hot for Hatch or Habanero .....
 
I bought 4.2 pounds here in SoTex at HEB last weekend. Will probably get some more this weekend...
