West Texas BBQ Crawl
I always forget about this forum and I hate that because BBQ road trips are a lot of fun.
First Stop Evie Mae's One of my all time favorites. I love a place that has excellent lean brisket and they didn't disappoint. Never sleep on the desserts either. https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2...qfyDpXo_YbE&e= Second Stop was Tom and Bingos BBQ. T&B has been around since the 50's and is a Lubbock institution. The new pitmaster Ian is keeping the traditions but also adding modern bbq to the menu. Ribs (Friday's only) were sweet and spice and some of the juiciest I've ever had. Their house made chipotle sausage is the best smoked sausage I've ever had. https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2...yOItBWen4As&e= |

Thanks for posting, Mike! It's always nice to see new regions and places covered here.

Until I can get my full plate from Goldee's, I still say for a full plate from fist bite to last that Evie Mae's was the best BBQ I've had in Texas. That includes Franklin's.
