Default Just Loafing….

Hickory and Cherry mix on this delicious smoked meatloaf.

2lbs Beef (local), 1lb pork (local), Q-Salt (local) and Ramp Salt (local). Onions and garlic.

That’s it!
No silly binders, no eggs.
Meat, spices and smoke.

Served with sweet potato chips and corn, topped with a bit of brown gravy.

Easy Peasy! Simple is sometimes better. Nice smoke color by the way.

Very nice.

Every time I try a regular shaped meatloaf in the oven, it winds up with cracks all over the place and darn near falling apart.

I guess I put too much "other" stuff in mine as opposed to your simple approach.

Putting a quick sear on some thin slices of the loaf for a breakfast sandwich with farm fresh eggs and slices of tomato
