Default Preferred Wood Pellets for Smoking Chicken

Wondering across the board if there is a common preferred wood pellet used to smoke Chicken

I am sure that there are no rules, however just wondering if there is a common preference used for Chicken

Thank you.

For poultry in general I tend to lean toward a hickory / apple blend.

I use a blend for just about everything, 100% hickory for butts and the such

The smoke profile is very subtle on a pellet grill...use anything you want. Probably won't be able to discern a difference.

Hickory and Apple blend works for me. I find the Hickory alone to be a bit strong on chicken.
