I'm a couple of weeks out from making the drive to pick up the Shirley. Do I need to get it registered, or do anything at the tax collector?

Thanks for the help.

I also live in Florida and I don't believe you need to do anything but drive that bad boy home and enjoy it! Of course a call to you local sheriff might be wise just to verify any transportation regulations that I may not know of.

As long as you have the bill of sale, you have a grace period to get a tag.
