Talking 22.5 WSM & Guru Questions

Folks: I'm a new member and new WSM & GURU owner and this may already be answered elsewhere. If so, pls 4give me.

1. Hook the aligator clip to the top rack or the bottom rack?

2. Probe the meat in the top rack or the bottom rack?

3. Can you fill the charcoal reservoir outside the fire ring?

4. Does it make sense to probe ribs?

5. I forgot

use a toothpick to probe ribs for doneness.
you can pile the heck out of the fire ring, but not outside it. i put a whole 19# bag of RO, with some briquettes added with no problem.
