Just sent a couple of PMs. It would have been one PM but mindless confusion ruled at the moment.

Sorry for confusion.. We need some help tomorrow or Monday after work to move some stuff around.. 4-5 guys and we can be done in about an hour.
BUT... Since Mike mentioned it... The monday after the contest there is a TON of stuff that has to be moved back to storage and takes me a few trips.. if anyone available then to it would be awesome. But immediate need is to get venue ready tomorrow or Monday.

We would like to thank Artisan Publishing and Brethren Adam Perry Lang for their kind donation of Adam's book Charred and Scruffed.

I will be down there at 5. We have to move and setup some fencing. Move some materials that are in our spots, get a small concession out of the shed(its buried behind stuff).

There was a nice mention in today's Newsday ('Top Things to Do' section) and in the 'Dining Out' section of the Pennysaver.
Looking forward to next weekend. Eric

Looking forward to it. Smokopolis BBQ is in. Any reason why this year is not showing on kcbs.us?

This isn't a KCBS event. It's MABA and BBQ Brethren sanctioned.

Looks like we are going to have some great weather!
As a note, regardless of whether or not you are competing/judging, we'd love to see you at the event. Come down, say hi, have a good time. Eric

CBJs? percentage? I see the scoring is different. What program is being used. Do we just have someone entering scores in a spreadsheet? Lot of talk recently about scoring lately so just curious. Should we expect team printouts? Do all 6 scores count? I do not see anything in scoring about dropping the lowest score. Rules say 'yes' but I would like confirmation on these: Are 7 samples going to be required with each entry? Are beef ribs going to be accepted in the beef category?
