Smile Tostada de Carne Asada

I cooked some more Beef Flap Meat Carne Asada tonight. This time I used my Kenmore Kettle. I had also purchased some tostada shells so here we go. Spread out some sour cream.

some frijoles

And Carne Asada

And some lettuce and Salsa Fresca. (Not shown was the final touch of some Tapatio hot sauce)

Oh Yeah!

I had to look up "Beef Flap Meat" (we don't see such cuts in my neck of the woods). Sounds promising!

If I put a few of those on the counter I wouldn't eat it because as soon as I went to the fridge for a cold one, the fam would snag em up before I even had a chance to pick one up!

Those look amazing!!!

A local market had it on sale for $4.99 a lb. I'll have to make it for myself sometime but I purchased the pre-marinated stuff as it's just so easy. Flap meat is thin stuff. I just cooked it on my Kenmore kettle directly over the charcoal for around 5 minutes per side.
