Any thoughts on marinating a tough steak in Guinness?

Give it hell. I like Guinness and I like steak. There has to be 1 or two marinade recipes kicking around that use it as a key ingredient.

If you want a good beer marinade look up Chuys copy cat recipe. They use shiner bock and it is great

The steak was a disappointment. It was tenderized which is what I wanted but was tasteless. Won't try that again.

Thanks for letting us know! I never marinated steak and wondered how that would work. We do marinate London broil in Italian dressing.

What kind of steak did you buy that was tough? Wonder if it would of been good cubed in a good stew?
